In the past eight years that i have been working part time from home I have noticed one common thing from almost everyone. This is that most seem to think that just pitching their products will make them a success. This could not be further from true. Look at all the posts in these networks and just count the percentage that are nothing but blatant ads. This is a discussion place. If we want ads we will ask for them. I am sorry that i got off my subject for a moment but here goes. What is it everyone is searching for is it instant riches, a better atmosphere to work from with no bosses,or is it just the idea of working from home with much spare time to be with family and friends while working at your own convenience.I personally love meeting great people on their quest to obtain personal success without having to slave for an income that could deminish any minute without any fault of yours. I have worked for the man for over 40 years moved up in big corporations and still every time times get tough we the slaves get hit not the big wigs. That is why i started working from home via the net 8 years ago. Please give your thoughts on this subject so everyone can learn the benefits of working together for a common cause not just a weekly paycheck that might dissapear instantly

Mr Symons,
Good to know that life via the net is possible. I have noticed with meeting many great people, such as yourself, that we can help each other by working together. I am learning so much by reading the blogs and the success stories through these personal websites. I have actually been encouraged to log on at least once daily to see if I can learn something new today that I didnt know yesterday or meet somebody today that I can help or can help me. I am currently looking for benefits via the net Part-Time now but will soon get to a position that I will be working full time but at my request and not because I have been hit. I am part of an apprentice program that is teaching me step by step Internet Marketing to include the do's and don'ts. Many have not taken the time to learn Internet Etiquette and violations.
Well wishes for as many 8 years as you can handle.

Best Regards,
Darral Rucker

Hi Bruce,

In the past, I was one of those people who didn't believe that an internet income was possible. That is until I spent $17,000.00 to go back to school (at age 41) to learn a new trade.
I became a corporate travel consultant, and really loved my job, until the economy went south. I only got to work at my new profession for 9 months before being laid off.
I live in Washington state, which has the highest unemployment rate in the country.
Previously, I was a bartender, and I can't even find a job in that industry now, so I turned my attention to the internet.
I purchased an online travel agency, similar to Expedia, and set about learning how to market it online.
In the beginning, I made the mistakes that you mention. Bombarding people all over the net with my advertisements.
Of course that didn't work, because I didn't know that there were rules to follow in order to be successful.
Then I got acquainted with Matt Laclear, and things are starting to turn around for me. Slowly but surely.
I've learned that I have to get to know people before offering them any service or opportunity I may have to offer, and with that in mind, I'd like to invite you to be my friend here. Also, if you have an account on sta.rt.up.biz, we can hook up there.
If you don't have an account there, I highly recommend that you get one. It is an awesome community and you can find some really great information there.

I think you are correct. I hate to see a bunch of ads. I personally like to develop a relationship with people and them if they are interested tell them about my product.

Yes, I would like to continue to stay at home with my kids and earn a good income, but it is not as easy as it sounds. Especially, if you have really never tried to do internet marketing before. If you develop friendships with people you talk to on the internet then if the business you are trying to promate goes under then you still have contacts which you can go back to and possibly get some ideas from them. We are really allk out here to help each other succeed.

If you wouold ever like to learn more about the business I am promoting you may send me your contact number or you may call me at (770) 775-6423. I really believe in this product.

Hi Bruce,

Interesting question: What am I searching for?

For me it is all about financial independency. Being financial independent of others and circumstances.
Until the birth of my eldest child I have been working at offices and gained a lot of various experiences. Now I want to earn my own money again. I prefer to work from home and as I like to be on the internet I explore my chances to get an income this way. Because I believe you need to have knowledge of internet marketing before you can make any money with whatever I signed up for the apprentice training from Matt. I'm learning a lot and together with my job experiences from the past and all the other studies and trainings I have done I will surely reach my goal. Maybe steady and slow, but I go on!

Hey Mr. Symons. This is a good discussion that needed to be put on here. Most people don't understand that you must develop relationships in order to be successful on the internet. Everyone wants to make money but the key is to develop some relationships with the people that you are involved with. I think that this is not being taught on the internet.
