About Me
My name is Bruce Symons and I live in sunny (and hot!) San Antonio,Texas.
Because the weather is so nice all the time I get lots of chances to take my grandkids fishing. We spend loads of time just goofing off doing other things in the outdoors too. But mostly we just enjoy one anothers company as much as we can.
I also play a bit of golf though I'm not the best at it! But I do have a good relaxing time every time I play. I could care less if I win or lose. I just like getting into the outdoors and soaking up the rays and spending time with my friends.
I have a full time job I really don't like all that much. Enough said about that!
Though I used to be really close with my family when I was growing up as we grew older we somehow lost contact with one another. That's something I'm gearing up to do something about real soon! Life is too short to not spend as much time as you possibly can with your loved ones.
I also look forward to meeting and getting to know as many new friends as I can here so I am very happy you took the time to visit me.

I was stationed at Ft. Sam and my daughter Shawna was born at Brooke Army Medical Center just before I got out of the Army in 1970. That was one of the best times of our lives.
I worked for the Postal Service for 30 years. When I retired I wrote a book called The Bible Believers Handbook. I'm been working to learn how to sell my book on the internet.
I am very interested in selling water filters, because people need them. I like the Aquasana water filters, and anyone can become one of their affiliates for free.

You asked about me.....I especially love family get-togethers with my children and grandchildren and proud of the adults they've become so I guess my husband and I did something right. :-) I'm also one of those crazy "pet parents" with an assorted little pet family now and they all make us laugh every day with their little antics. A few months ago I started volunteering at our local shelter and that has been a very rewarding experience although I would love to take them all home.
For the past 14 years I have been working for a local propane supplier. Like you, there are the ups and downs of working for someone else. We are fortunate to work for a family who don't think "corporate" and do treat everyone well.
I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and not been afraid to try new things. While not all have been successful, I know that's just part of the journey. In 2004, I stumbled across a company who created a unique line of candles. I say unique because they found a way to make candles from vegetable wax, which also fit into my lifestyle of going "green". After putting this candle through my own rigourous testing ;-), I usually tell people the candle business found me and that's when I decided to be a distributor. I especially like the fact that it's stress-free.
This turned out to be a little longer than anticipated, but you did ask!
