thanks Matt for taking me on as an apprentice

I have a dog named Simba, he' a small dog cross between welsh corgi and terrier and he loves to go for walks

I used to live close to the university of Manitoba and behind it there is a pond, large one with geese and ducks usually

The very first time i went there Simba had never been there and he was maybe 6 months old and as he ran ahead of me he went toward the water

since this was early spring in may the geese were there in bunches and there was one certain goose that seemingly caught Simbas eye and he ran directly for her.

The only thing was that she had young ones and she wasn't going to move for no one and as Simba ran closer she started a lot of noise.

I was going to call to Simba but i just waited to see what was going to haapen, by this Simba was very close and the mother goose was very agitated, hissing at you could see she wasn't going to move.

Simba was so curious that no thought of backing down entered his mind

Suddenly the mother flew at Simba and just bowled simba over with her wings scaring the stuffing out of him.

He just lay on his back and just howled for his life not knowing what to do.

I ran to him comforted him as best i could, smiling at how it happened and also feeling a little sorry for him

To this day he has never approached a goose again and goes well out of his way to avoid them.

Hes grown into a dog that loves fun in any shape or form and a great Frisbee catcher.
