Vaughan, I think that when you are determined to reach something you should write down your goal first - What do I want? Then make a plan - What will I do to reach that goal? Make a start…

Here's my story

Welcome at my page!

My name is Wilma van Zwietering. I'm a divorced woman of 48 years from the Netherlands. I have a son of 17 years and a daughter of 14 years. My son is living with his father and my daughter is living with me.

When I was a girl of about 10 years old I wrote my first short story. Due to my stubbornness I don't have it anymore. Although I had been warned I would regret to have thrown it away. I kept on writing short stories during my time at secondary school. At first fairy tales and later on science fiction. Only a few I still have. My classmates were not very amused I used to throw away everything after a while, so they collected them. Maybe those stories still exist somewhere. I have got no idea. Sometimes I used to write poems as well. Mostly when I had fallen in love with a boy.

Writing, reading, taking photographs, doing research for information and writing stories or articles from it and being interested in spirituality and psychology have always been part of me. Apart from reading books I am now reading a lot at the web as well. It's an immense source of information!

It's my dream to design my own website, but I must confess the HTML-codes and making the correct connections to the various maps have caused me a lot of headaches until now. It is still waiting for me to continue. Besides that I have developed a passion for working with Paint Shop Pro as well. I am still in the stage of making lessons to get familiar with it. It's a challenge for me to create a website with a good balance between text and images once.

Well, I hope you liked to read my story.

From my part, I would enjoy to learn more about you too. So, don't hesitate to post a comment at my comment wall telling me more about yourself. I am really interested in it!

Regards,
Wilma van Zwietering

Hi Wilma,

I'm doing ok, how about you?

I'm an Internet Marketer/Blogger originally from Boston, now living in Port Orange, Florida. We live about 5 miles from Daytona Speedway. My wife just got a job working for NASCAR so now she HAS to learn about racing. It's a dream come true for me.

We have two sons, 21 & 23. The younger one is an auto mechanic and the older one was just offered a job to become an Assistant General Manager at a local hotel. So things are looking up here. A few more visitors to my blog and everything will be perfect.

Being a writer must be nice, I have a little problem with that, but, I'm trying. I see you have a little dilemma with your website. I use Ewen Chia's "My Free Website Builder". You can get it here. It has a step-by-step help section and a users guide with video. There are a couple of other resources I use that may help.
