HI! Thanks for stopping by my page here at Victory Online University! Sure glad you decided to pop in for a visit!!

My name is Phillip Tarnowski. I'm a 57 year old man who has plenty of time on his hands these days due to some health problems that forced me to take an early retirement.

But I'm not complaining mind you!

Life is an adventure and you just never know what wonderful places it's going to take you.

I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and have lived there all my life. I'm an avid bowler averaging 215 for many years. Beat that you young pups. Big smiles!

I was also a very good baseball and football player in my younger years if I don't say so myself. I even had try outs with six different pro clubs when I was still in high school. But I ended up in the 82nd Airborne Rangers fighting my way through the jungles of Vietnam for three years. I eventually left the military in 1972 after being wounded for the third time. I just could never duck quick enough I guess!

In all seriousness I hold two purple hearts and a bronze star for the efforts I gave my country. Unfortunately I also brought home an illness that has been with me ever since.

But again, I'm not complaining!

I was married for 17 years and as I became more and more ill my wife and I grew farther apart until we eventually split up.

I'm the father of two sons, a daugther and a stepson who are all wonderful young people.

Let me take a little time right now and brag up one of my sons. He's very intelligent and is in the top three to five percent of his age group nationally in reading, math, and science. If that wasn't enough he is also a black belt in Shaolin Karate and is already an instructor! He is aspiring to become a professional baseball player and I have no doubt one day we will all see him playing in the big leagues. Mark my words! Not just because he's a great player now but because of the determination and disclipine he exudes in everything he does.

I am very determined in my own way to get my life back to where it needs to be. I have a great support system in place to help me do just that. But what I also need is to grow a network of some great friends here at Victory Online University!

Why not post a comment below and share a little bit about yourself? I really would like to get to know you!
